Dragon Wok Express offered an extensive, high-quality Chinese menu, but its brand presence did not reflect the depth, craft, or confidence of the food itself. The visual identity lacked cohesion, and the digital experience did not translate the richness of the cuisine or the scale of the offering.
The challenge was to modernize the brand without stripping it of cultural grounding—balancing tradition with contemporary relevance.
DLS reimagined Dragon Wok Express through a refined brand identity and digital system inspired by the culinary heritage of Chengdu. We developed a flexible visual language that allowed the brand to explore multiple expressions while staying anchored to a strong, recognizable core.
The project spanned Brand Identity and Web Design & Development, ensuring consistency across physical touchpoints and digital ordering experiences.

Dragon Wok Express now presents itself with confidence and intention. The brand feels contemporary but respectful, expressive but controlled. Every element—from logotype to layout—communicates quality, abundance, and expertise.
The result is a restaurant brand that feels as considered as the food it serves.
